Sounds of the Soul of Africa on CD

Ancestral Cry was written and produced Live in Ghana, West Africa by Nana Kweku Codrington of Kweku Productions.  This five track CD captures the magically mysterious and mystical nature of Africa as the flute leads in the first tract “NaNa Tabia’s Castle: Man/Women Dungeon”.  This prayerful and meditative cut provides the listener with an exploration of the self as a story, is told musically on painted landscapes of a time that once was while sojourning through challenges, triumph and peace prevail.

Ancestral Cry is a journey back for the soul to feel, rejoice and be healed through a musical voyage that connects the listener to the primal, indigenous, ritualistic, spiritual and rhythmic sounds of Africa.
